HOSTWINS / LEGAL & POLICIES
Delivery Policy
HostWins services are delivered digitally: your hosting account, email, domain services and website project are supplied online.
Effective 23 October 2026
1. Digital fulfilment
There is no physical shipment or courier delivery for our standard hosting, WordPress hosting, email hosting, domain registration/transfers or website design services. Service access, setup information and project communication are delivered through your registered email address, client portal or an agreed secure channel. No physical delivery charge applies to these digital services.
2. Order acceptance and activation
Provisioning follows confirmation of payment and any necessary order, fraud or technical checks. A payment receipt does not confirm that a domain has been registered or that a custom project is complete. We will send confirmation when the relevant service is ready.
Hosting and email activation normally follows completion of those checks. If manual intervention is needed we will communicate the expected activation time; we do not promise instant activation for every order. Contact support if payment has cleared but you have not received setup information by the end of the next business day.
3. Hosting, WordPress and email
Delivery means access to the purchased service and the setup details needed to use it, including the relevant control panel or webmail. It does not mean that a custom website, content migration or configuration on every device is included unless the order expressly includes it.
Where WordPress installation is part of the package, we provide the installation and relevant access. Connecting an existing domain may require DNS changes. DNS caching, the previous host and your local network can affect when the change becomes visible; DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours and occasionally longer.
4. Domain registration and renewal
Registration is complete when the registry accepts the requested name and registrant details. Availability can change between searching and registration. If the name cannot be registered we will inform you and offer an agreed alternative or refund the amount due.
Correct contact information and any required verification are your responsibility. Registry-specific eligibility and verification requirements may delay completion. Renewal is complete when accepted by the registry; paying late may not prevent interruption or recovery charges.
5. Transfers and migrations
A domain transfer can depend on authorisation codes, registrant approval, transfer locks and the current registrar. Timing varies by extension and status. We will explain the applicable steps rather than promise one completion time for every transfer.
A website or email migration is a separate task. Its scope, access requirements and schedule must be agreed. Keep the old service active and preserve backups until the new service has been tested. We will coordinate changes with you to reduce disruption.
6. Website design delivery
Your accepted quotation or project agreement specifies scope, milestones, revision rounds and target dates. Work depends on timely payment, content, images, account access and approvals. We will tell you if missing information or approved scope changes affect the schedule.
We provide the agreed preview or review opportunity and arrange launch and handover after the applicable milestones and payment conditions are met. Included source files, training, ongoing maintenance and third-party licences follow the accepted scope. There is no automatic sales or search-ranking guarantee.
7. Delays and unavailable services
We will notify you of a material delay, explain what is needed and agree a revised date where appropriate. We will not use a general “third-party delay” statement to remove your statutory rights.
Where ECTA applies, orders must be executed within 30 days unless another period has been agreed. If we fail to meet that period, the applicable right to cancel on seven days’ written notice remains available. If an ordered service is unavailable, we will notify you and refund payments within the legally required period, including ECTA’s 30-day requirement where applicable.
8. Checking your delivery
Check the registered email address, spam folder and client portal for setup messages. Tell us promptly about incorrect account access, an incomplete installation or a mismatch with the order. We will investigate and remedy a verified problem under the agreement and applicable law. Never share passwords in a public message or chat.
